Vivian Dell Peters, 78 of Johnson City, went to be with the Lord and loved one’s March 18th,2024 at 6:17 a.m.Vivian had many talents, however, the talent she utilized the most was caring and loving for others and believing in her family. Vivian loved to go fishing and camping. She loved sitting on the porch reminiscing with family over great memories. She was always so proud of her garden, vegetables, and plants. She loved late nights with her family singing, dancing, playing cards, and celebrating one another. She loved her siblings, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren fiercely and unconditionally. Vivian was a survivor of many things in her life, one including breast cancer. She didn’t have much but no matter what she always had her family.In addition to her parents, Vivian is preceded in death by her life long partner, Jerry Riddle; Second Husband, Daryl Peters; One son, Jerry Jerome Riddle; One daughter, Paula Rose Riddle.Survivors include: Sisters, Francis Crum and Kathy Harrison; Daughters, Lisa Crum and husband Billy, Vickie Shacke and husband Ryan. Sons, Daniel Riddle and wife Stephanie, Michael Riddle and wife Tina, Mark Riddle, and Travis Riddle. Daughter-in-law Tammy Myers. As well as numerous Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren and 2 Great-Great-Grandchildren.The family would like to express a sincere Thank You to the Hospice staff and ICU nurses at JCMC for their support and effort in helping keep Vivian comfortable. Vivian will be the warrior teacher that will be missed very much. Her family is proud to call her mother, sister, nanny, and best friend. Until we meet again, rest in peace our beautiful queen. Visitation for Mrs. Vivian Peters will be held Friday, March 22, 2024 beginning at 12:00pm and ending at 2:00pm in the East Parlor of Appalachian Funeral Home.A Graveside Committal service will be held following the visitation in Washington County Memory Gardens (113 Memory Gardens Road, Johnson City, TN 37615) with Pastor Dewey Ward officiating.Pallbearers include: Elijah Riddle, Ezekiel Riddle, Jacob Riddle, Mitchell Hughes, William Hughes, Isaac Mays, and Billy Crum, Jr.The obituary was lovingly written by the family of Mrs. Vivian Peters.
